When you read the story of the Bartholomew the blind (Mark 10:46 - 52), you have to ask the question,
"Why Jesus didn’t turn back on Bartholomew first shout?”
After all he called with a name, “Son of David” Calling Him. “Lord” expressed their sense of His deity, dominion, and power, and calling Him “Son of David,” expressed his faith that He was the Messiah.
Yes, Jesus wanted to test his faith to do the miracle.
There are times we pray for help and miracles in our life, but we don't get the answer as easily Why?
Do you think he doesn’t care about us?
No! He loves us more than anything in this world John (3:16)
"These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold." (1 Peter 1:7a NLT)
The Bible repeatedly says that God has promised to meet your needs:
“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19 NIV).
Now let us see how Bartholomew passed the Trials of faith and what are the trials he faced.
Trials
Jesus didn't turn back on first shout.
Everyone rebuked him and asked him to be quiet. Mark (10:48)
He is blind and beggar.
Faith
Bartholomew had a faith that, Jesus will hear him.
He didn’t stop shouting when people rebuked him and asked him to be quiet, bible says he shouted all the more.
He had a faith that, he will not come and sit again in the same place to beg Jesus will heal him.
Yes, Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” Mark (10:49)
People who rebuked him and asked him to be quiet said, "Cheer up! On your feet! He's calling you." Mark(10:49)
He threw away the cloak, which is a burden of begging he was carrying. He jumped to his feet and came to Jesus.
You know what Jesus asked him?
Miracle
What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked him. The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see. Mark (10:51)
"Go," said Jesus, "your faith has healed you." Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road. Mark (10:52)
You are right, our faith can do anything, can get anything Matt (17:20)
Never give up on your faith!!! Praise the lord
